We reserve the right to adjust or replace any part of the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to read this page whenever you use the website. Please leave the website if you do not agree to these terms.

Applicability
These terms and conditions will apply to all orders, offers, activities, agreements, and deliveries of services or products by or on behalf of Lait de Coco Store. Parties can only deviate from these conditions if they have explicitly agreed upon in writing.
Orders, prices, and payments

To order products you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. If you did not reach the age of majority yet your actions on the website must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian. For all purchases made at our store, you are confirming all details you provide are true and accurate.
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place on our website. We may, at our discretion, limit or cancel the order per person or household. This may include orders placed by the same customer account, the same credit card, or purchased under the same billing and/or shipping address. If this situation occurs, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the email, billing address, or phone number provided at the time the order was made.
All prices shown on the website are including taxes and shipping costs but may be subject to customs duties, fees, and import taxes upon delivery. Your local customs authority determines this charge.
Prices on our website are subject to change without notice.
If we accidentally place an incorrect price on the website (and it clearly is a mistake) we have the right to adapt. Even if you have already completed the order.
Once in a while we have a sale or provide promotion codes. If you want to wait for this, it is good to know that all our items are unique and of most items, we only have 1 in stock.
You can choose from the following secure payment methods: PayPal, Ideal, Bancontact, SOFORT, sepa, EPS, Giropay, Przelewy24, KBC/CBC, Belfius.
Our online payment methods are ensured by a single secure online gateway provided by Mollie. This means that Mollie acts as a payment intermediary, first receiving your payment in an in-between account and then transferring it further to our account.
Delivery
Lait de Coco store offers free shipping worldwide from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. There is no minimum order value or quantity, we deliver it for free.
Lait de Coco store is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone. Any delivery period specified by Lait de Coco store is indicative and does not give the customer the right to dissolution or compensation if this period is not met with. Exceeding the specified delivery period does not entitle the customer to compensation or the right to terminate the contract.
We are not responsible for any delays caused by customs clearance processes.
Delivery takes place while stocks last.
The delivery starts once the customer has fully completed the ordering process. You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Lait de Coco store is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur.
We do not ship to P.O. boxes. There may be other exceptions where we do not ship, we cannot be held responsible for not being able to ship to a certain address.
Cancelling, returns, or exchange
If you should change your mind after placing an order and wish to cancel, please do so within 1 hour of placing the order. Otherwise, your order may be processed and shipped.
All images, photos, descriptions, and colors on the website are indicative and are only approximate, and can not lead to any compensation and/or (partial) dissolution of the agreement and/or suspension of any obligation.
We strive to ensure that all customers are happy with their orders. However, we advise you to check the quality and the quantity within fourteen workdays. If something is not correct please send an email to info@laitdecocostore.com In this case, we will provide you with a return form and instructions.
If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have fourteen days from the date you received your item to return it. The costs and responsibility of the return shipment are at the expense of the customer (unless it is a faulty item). Items must be returned in the same condition as delivered. If goods are visibly used, worn, damaged, or incomplete we have the right to refuse returned items. Please note that if the returned item has decreased in value, for reasons other than to carefully determine whether the item fits, for instance when the item has been used, then you are liable for such a decrease in value.
Faulty items: examine the received product as soon as possible for possible shortcomings. If a delivered product does not comply with what you could reasonably expect, you must inform Lait de Coco Store of this as soon as possible, but in any case within 1 month after the discovery of the shortcomings. E-mail a detailed description of the shortcomings so we can respond adequately to: info@laitdecocostore.com
To avoid needless returns, make sure you read the information and view the product photos with attention. Also, note the size measurements of the item and any flaws. Please remember all our items are vintage. This always shows somewhere, even if we mention they are in excellent vintage condition.
To return your order please make sure your order details (order number, name, address) are included in your return parcel. You can send your package to:

The refund will take place after receipt and inspection within 14 working days from the day that your return package arrived back at the return address. We can only transfer the refund to the account where the original payment came from.
Exchanges are only processed upon receipt of the returned item and are based on stock availability.
Please return your item(s) to us and purchase the new piece separately.

Force majeure
1. In addition to the provisions of article 6:75 Dutch Civil Code, a shortcoming of Lait de Coco Store in the fulfillment of any obligation to the customer cannot be attributed to Lait de Coco Store in any situation independent of the will of Lait de Coco Store, when the fulfillment of its obligations towards the customer is prevented in whole or in part or when the fulfillment of its obligations cannot reasonably be required from Lait de Coco Store.
2. The force majeure situation referred to in paragraph 1 is also applicable – but not limited to: state of emergency (such as civil war, insurrection, riots, natural disasters, etc.); defaults and force majeure of suppliers, deliverymen, or other third parties; unexpected disturbances of power, electricity, internet, computer or telecoms; computer viruses, strikes, government measures, unforeseen transport problems, bad weather conditions, and work stoppages.
3. If a situation of force majeure arises as a result of which Lait de Coco Store cannot fulfill one or more obligations towards the customer, these obligations will be suspended until Lait de Coco Store can comply with it.
4. From the moment that a force majeure situation has lasted at least 30 calendar days, both parties may dissolve the agreement in writing in whole or in part.
5. Lait de Coco Store does not owe any (damage) compensation in a situation of force majeure, even if it has obtained any advantages as a result of the force majeure situation.
Applicable law and competent court
Dutch law is exclusively applicable to all agreements between the parties. The Dutch court in the district where Lait de Coco Store is established is exclusively competent in case of any disputes between parties unless the law prescribes otherwise.
